Cross Marin Bicycle Trail

SFE prepared the master plan, phasing implementation recommendations and cost projections for a system of hiking, bicycle and equestrian trails crossing Marin County from Tomales Bay to the Larkspur Ferry Terminal on the San Francisco Bay.  The planning process involved input from a wide variety of public agencies, commissions, community groups and the public at large.  Traffic and right-of-way considerations were essential concerns in planning the trail route.  Difficult site conditions and conflicts with vehicular traffic necessitated the use of bridges and under crossings in many locations along the trail corridor.
