Bridge Street Improvement Project

The Bridge Street Improvements Project addresses two key blocks of Bridge Street immediately contiguous to Plumas Street, which is the heart of the downtown shopping district.  Bridge Street is primarily a collector street that provides easy vehicular access to downtown.  In response to the design language of the Plumas Street Improvements Project, the Bridge Street Project incorporates the use of the palm trees, street lights and enhanced pavements used on the Plumas Street project.  The project includes a ROW to ROW renovation with new, separated pedestrian walks with street trees and landscape improvements at the back of curb, medians with Palms and groundcover, and boulevard scale lights consistent with the Plumas Street pedestrian scale street lights.
