Whittier Boulevard Improvements Project

In support of the lead urban design firm, Freedman, Tung and Bottomley, SFE prepared the landscape architectural construction documents for 6 blocks of streetscape improvements associated with downtown revitalization.  The project also includes downtown monumentation at key points of arrival into the downtown district, the renovation of public parking lots immediately contiguous to the downtown, and the development of two key transit plazas. The project scope includes a wall-to-wall renovation with new pedestrian walkways, streetlights, furnishings, street trees, landscape improvements, and utility and drainage improvements.
