The Courthouse Square Improvement Project is the creation of a central public square in front of the historic County Courthouse in central Redwood City.  As the project landscape architects, SFE provided technical support, construction document preparation and construction administration to the lead urban design firm of Freedman, Tung and Bottomley (FTB). Our understanding of FTB’s approach to plaza and streetscape design enhances our ability to prepare construction documents that express the FTB design intent, and insure a construction process that protects the interests of the design team and FTB’s public agency clients.
