Five Canyon Park
Hayward Area Recreation District

SFE prepared the master plan and construction documents for this 9-acre sports park.  The site constraints include difficult vehicular access and a major PG&E transmission line bisecting the site.  Site grading, for vehicular access and clearance beneath the PG&E transmission line was central to concept development.  The project facilities program is extensive and required careful consideration of grades to adequately accommodate the program requirements.

Park Feature Include:  Two Adult Softball Fields; Two Regulation Soccer Fields; Two Basketball Courts; Group Picnic Facilities; Children’s Play Area; 60 Car Parking Lot; Concession/Restroom Building.
