Gilman Street Sports Fields Complex

Working in collaboration with the lead agency, the City of Berkeley, the East Bay Regional Park District, and the adjacent cities of Albany, El Cerrito, Emeryville and Richmond, SFE refined the concept master plan and managed and prepared the construction documents for this 16 acre sports park, located at the west end of Berkeley along the San Francisco Bay. The park is being developed for use by all of the cities mentioned, adjacent to the East Bay Regional Park District's future East Shore Park. The project includes two NCAA lighted synthetic soccer fields, one lighted baseball diamond, two lighted softball fields, 158 car parking located in two parking lots, and a new field house.
